Project Manager

Position Overview

AFCFC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to coordinate and oversee projects across the organization. This role is responsible for guiding cross-functional initiatives from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering results on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities within a structured project environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Coordinate and monitor project activities across departments to ensure timely execution and delivery.
    • Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and document outcomes to drive accountability and transparency.
    • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
    • Liaise with third-party vendors and external partners to manage dependencies and ensure quality deliverables.
    • Prepare detailed project plans and schedules using MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
    • Provide regular updates to leadership through status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks; escalate issues to senior management as appropriate.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation including workflows, timelines, and risk assessments.
    • Support post-project evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
    • Other non-essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant project coordination or management experience, ideally in the food and beverage or related industries.
    • Solid understanding of Agile project principles and formal project management frameworks.
    • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
    • Project Management or ITIL certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are advantageous.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • High attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.

Location:  On-Site

Salary range: $75,000.00 – $86,000.00/per year
